This heat tool (or embossing heat tool) by Ranger lets you melt embossing powder easily and quickly. The Heat It Craft Tool heats and has a gentle airflow so the embossing powder stays in place. For heat embossing, you need special embossing inks, such as Distress Clear Embossing Ink (SKU 15TIM21643) or Versamark (SKU 05VM). These are transparent inks to which your embossing powder sticks well. Create beautiful glossy embossing effects on cards, scrapbooking and other papercraft projects, or decorate gift tags, pencil cases and notebooks.

Want your embossing powder to match your Distress project? Then choose Ranger's Embossing Glaze. You can also use ordinary stamping ink. In that case, choose a stamp pad that is well-moistened. First, make a print with a stamp or create your design with ink. Then sprinkle embossing powder over it and gently shake off the excess powder. Now heat the embossing powder until it melts. The result is a beautiful shiny embossed design. You can also use the Heat It Craft Tool to heat shrink plastic or to quickly dry paint, ink or glue. Use it on paper, wood, textiles and more.
