Ranger's Tim Holtz Distress Crayons are water-reactive pastels in very bright, vibrant colours with extra pigment. They give a metallic sheen and are ideal for creating backgrounds, watercolours, effects and more. With their many possibilities, the crayons lend themselves perfectly to mixed media projects where you combine various materials and techniques. For example, you can use the crayons in handy marker form on light and dark paper, canvas, wood and metal. Use them for card-making, scrapbooking and all your other papercraft projects!

Like other Distress products, the Crayons react to water. The pigments continue to react as soon as you add water, even hours or days later. Colour directly on paper or other material, mix with water and then add Distress Inks, Paints or Stains for more creative possibilities. Distress Crayons are available in pearl in addition to the metallic variant and the well-known Distress colours. The different products in the Tim Holtz Distress range all have unique properties and are available in the same colours making them great to combine.
