Vaessen Creative • Cut Easy Platform A5

This platform forms the base for almost every application with the Vaessen Creative Cut Easy A5 cutting and embossing machine (2137-054). The platform is always the first layer, whether you're cutting or embossing. Next comes the magnetic cutting plate (C) or embossing plate (E). Place your material on the plate with either a cutting die on top or in-between an embossing folder. Add the base plate (B) as the final layer.

For the Sizzix Bigz Dies, you'll need a different plate combination than for thin dies and embossing folders: use the baseplate (S) as a base followed by the magnetic cutting plate (C), your material and the Bigz die. You do not need to add a base plate for extra pressure. Have you formed the right combination for your cutting die or embossing folder? Then place the complete stack (or sandwich) in the Cut Easy and turn the handle to roll it through the machine. The magnetic plates prevent the layers from moving so that you can die-cut and emboss very precisely.
