Make Paper Flowers in a Vase

Make Paper Flowers in a Vase

Create this cheerful card featuring flowers in a vase! With paper, glue, and a bit of creativity, you can make a colourful gift for Mother’s or Father’s Day.

1
Take an orange sheet of paper and fold it in half lengthwise. Draw half of a vase along the fold using a pencil.
2
Cut out the vase along the pencil line and erase any remaining marks.
3
Write a heartfelt message on the vase with a pen or marker.
4
Cut strips of red, yellow, and ochre paper, each measuring 4.1 x 0,6 inches (10.5 x 1.5 cm). You’ll need 8 strips of each colour.
5
Glue the ends of each strip together to form loops.
6
Use a circle punch to cut out small circles for the flower centres. No punch? Draw circles on the paper and cut them out.
7
Attach 8 loops around each circle to create flowers.
8
Cut thin green strips of paper, 0,4 inch (1 cm) wide, to make flower stems. Glue the stems to the back of the flowers.
9
Take a blue sheet of paper and stick the flowers onto it. Trim any stems that extend beyond the edges.
10
Finally, glue the vase over the stems at the bottom. Your Mother’s or Father’s Day gift is ready!
