Create an Easter basket decorated with adorable bunnies! A fun Easter craft for a treasure hunt for hidden Easter eggs or to hold small gifts.
1
Cut a red sheet of cardstock to 8.2 x 8.2 inches (21 x 21 cm) and a strip of 8.2 x 1 inch (21 x 2.5 cm). Score the square sheet all around at 2 inches.
2
Fold the score lines tightly and cut along the score lines to the intersection with the next line. Do this on both opposite sides of the paper.
3
Fold the flaps inward to form a box and glue or tape them securely.
4
Draw the shape of bunny ears on white cardstock and cut them out. On red cardstock, draw slightly smaller ears for the inner part.
5
Also, draw and cut two white circles with a diameter of 4.1 inches (10.5 cm).
6
Glue the red inner ears onto the white ones and then attach them behind the white circles. Use a marker or fine liner to draw a bunny face.
7
Stick the bunny faces on opposite sides of the box, with the faces facing out.
8
Make it into a basket by gluing the 1 inch (2.5 cm) strip as a handle to the back of the bunnies. Enjoy your Easter egg hunt!
