Carla Wolf brings a smile to everyone’s face with her cheerful and funny illustrations. She has been designing various craft supplies such as stamps, dies, stencils and design paper for several years. From spring 2025, her designs will be released in collaboration with Vaessen Creative.
It all started in kindergarten...
Perhaps her passion for drawing really did begin in kindergarten. She has been creative her entire life and has taught herself various techniques. First with pencil drawings, then pastels, and later with paint. The more she tried, the more she developed her skills.
From Carla to Carla Creates
With the rise of social media, she began sharing her work and started receiving commissions regularly. This led to the request to turn her illustrations into stamps. Since January 2018, she has been able to turn her hobby into a profession and started Carla Creaties. Over 150 stamps with her designs and matching materials have already been sold worldwide. She draws all her designs by hand – starting with pencil and paper, then outlining with a fineliner and colouring them in with markers or ink. Only in the final production stage do a scanner and computer come into play. Thanks to the coloured images on the front of the packaging, her products have a unique appearance and are loved as colouring examples. Colouring in the stamps is a relaxing activity for many, offering a peaceful break after a busy day. Ironically, she had never used stamps before becoming an illustrator, and the first time she stamped was with her own designs.
Besides the fact that her hand often follows what her mind imagines, Carla also has a vivid imagination that constantly brings new ideas and characters to life. Because these characters are so close to her heart, each one feels like a little child to her. This shows the passion and emotion she pours into every illustration. |

She creates tutorials and always releases a detailed introduction video with each new collection. You can find all of these on her YouTube channel.
