This easy and not-so-scary DIY will add a little warmth and spookiness to your Halloween decor. Also a great project to make with and for kids. Get ready for the fun of the fall season with the cutest spiders you’ve ever seen!

1
To make legs for the spider, cut 8 lengths of chenille stems to 9cm.
2
Push these legs into the side of the styrofoam ball, spacing equally 4 on each side. Bend the chenille stem into the shape of legs and feet.
3
Push a cocktail stick into the bottom of the ball lo make it easy to hold whilst applying glue and glitter. Apply mod podge in a thick layer over the ball.
4
Holding the ball using the cocktail stick, shake glitter over the entire ball. Leave to dry.
5
Using a metal ring, 25cm, wind black chenille stems around the ring.
6
Make a web in the middle of the ring using black chenille stems by winding around the ring in the form of a web.
7
When glue and glitter have dried, glue on two wobbly eyes and a nose . Make a small hole in the top of the spider and push some black thread to hang your spider on the mobile. Use a small amount of glue to hold in place. Use different lengths of thread for each spider.
8
Hang your spiders onto the web and you’re all ready to hang up your spider mobile.
