The Vaessen Creative ink roller (brayer) is ideal for applying and evenly distributing ink, (acrylic) paints and other mediums on various surfaces for painting, card making, stamping, stencilling and scrapbooking. But also if you want to apply vinyl and flex foil on a cutting mat or work with gel press plates or mixed media plates this ink roller is a must. You can even use the roller on uneven surfaces - just be careful with soft materials to avoid indenting the surface.

The roller can be used in two ways: run it through paint or ink and then spread the paint or ink across the surface or apply the paint/ink directly to the surface and then spread it evenly with the brayer. This ink roller is 6 inches wide and made of plastic and rubber / wood and rubber. If your project is wider than the roller, roll carefully and avoid applying too much pressure. Pressing too hard or using excessive ink or paint may cause lines to appear from the edges of the roller. Want a completely streak-free surface? Always use a roller that is wider than your project.
