This blending tool from Vaessen Creative is ideal for ink blending techniques. Combine the ink applicator with a stencil and different types of stamping ink, or mix directly onto the surface of your choice. By making twisting movements on the paper or cardboard, you can achieve stunning blending effects using different colours of stamping ink. Versafine Clair and Distress inks are perfect for ink blending. This tool is also well suited for applying paints. The blending tool prevents hard edges from forming in your work and gives you more control over how colours are placed.

It is best to use a new blending foam for each colour to prevent colours from mixing inadvertently (sold separately). Each foam piece has a thin layer of fabric on one side, which is where you attach the foam to the handle. Dab the blending foam in ink or paint and apply it to the surface. Always work from the outside inward and begin with the lightest colour to achieve the best results.
