Create your own 3D artwork with cardstock! In this DIY, we’ll punch circles from cardstock and fold them in a special way to create a stunning 3D effect. Use your favourite colour of cardstock to make your own 3D wall art masterpiece. Happy crafting!
Choose a colour of cardstock you like, such as chocolate brown. Punch out 36 circles from the cardstock.

Place each circle in the cutting and scoring tool, and score them precisely down the middle.

Fold all the circles neatly along the score line.

Take a sheet of kraft paper measuring 12 x 12 inches (30.5 x 30.5 cm) and draw a border 1.5 inch (4 cm) from the edge.

Inside this border, draw a grid of squares measuring 1.8 x 1.8 inches (4.5 x 4.5 cm).

To make the next steps easier, draw diagonals within the grid squares.

Apply double-sided tape along all the horizontal and vertical lines.

Take the folded circles and place the first circle at the intersection of the second horizontal and vertical lines, with the fold line running horizontally. The circle should fit perfectly within a square, aligned with the diagonal lines.

Next, place a circle to the left with the fold line running vertically. Place another circle above this one with the fold line running horizontally. Continue by placing a circle with the fold line running vertically, overlapping the circle to the left and tucking it under the circle below.

Repeat step 9 to fill the grid with circles, as shown in the photo.

Once you’ve filled the entire grid, you’ll have a beautiful 3D artwork ready to hang on your wall!
