Create an adorable sheep using paper and macramé cord! With a simple wrapping technique, you can give your sheep a soft, woolly coat. Perfect as a spring decoration! ✂️🐑
Print the attached PDF on brown kraft paper and cut out the sheep shapes. Each sheep consists of two parts: one complete sheep and one with folding strips. Can’t print on thick paper? Print on regular paper, cut out the shape, and trace it onto kraft paper.
2
Fold the strip along the sheep’s back inwards, as well as the strip on the belly. The belly strip has a dashed line—fold it to create a rounded belly.
3
Apply double-sided tape to the folding strips and attach the loose sheep shape to them. If done correctly, the sheep should now have a triangular shape and be able to stand on its own.
4
Start wrapping by threading the macramé cord through the chest and pulling it out at the back. This forms the tail and helps secure the cord during wrapping.
5
Wrap the cord around the sheep at least twice, depending on how fluffy you want the coat to be. Tuck the end of the cord neatly under the wrapped wool to finish.
