1
Take a gold metal ring and a 3 mm thick macramé cord in the colour Natural. Cut two pieces of cord, each about 2 meters long. Attach both cords to the ring with a loop, as shown in the picture.
2
Place the outer right cord over the two middle cords and under the left cord.
3
Now take the outer left cord and pass it under the two middle cords and over the right cord, creating a loop. Pull the two outer cords to tighten the first knot.
4
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to form a twisted spiral of knots. Continue until you reach the bottom of the ring.
5
Take the natural cord again, along with two other colours of cord, such as yellow and blue. Cut 8 pieces of the yellow and blue cords, each 1.5 meters long, and 6 pieces of the natural cord, each 1.5 meters long.
6
First, tie two natural cords next to the newly made spiral, then add 4 yellow cords and 4 blue cords. Use the same knots as in step 1.
7
Tie the remaining cords in a mirrored order from the center to the ring, creating the desired pattern.
8
String wooden beads onto the inner blue cord on the left side. Continue until you reach the bottom of the ring.
9
The base is now ready. Divide the cords into two groups and hold them upward. Then, take the outer blue cords on the right side.
10
Pass the cord first under the ring in the middle, then bring it forward and back again.
11
Next, bring the cord from back to front over the ring and pull it through the loop, as shown in the picture, and tighten it.
12
Secure all the cords in this way. To stay centered, it's helpful to first knot a few right-side blue cords and then a few left-side cords. The left cords will lie over the right cords.
13
Then, tie all the remaining cords until everything is secured to the ring.
14
Arrange the overhanging cords straight or comb them out first. Then cut them straight or to a point, according to your preference.
