1
Take a black and a red sheet of cardstock. Use the jumbo circle punch to cut out a circle from each sheet. Use the maxi circle punch to cut another circle from the black paper.
2
Layer the two black circles on top of each other to form the ladybug’s body. Cut the red circle in half and glue these halves onto the body with the straight edges meeting at the top, leaving some black visible at the bottom.
3
Punch dots from the black paper using a handheld punch and glue these onto the wings.
4
Cut two pieces of black pipe cleaners, about 5 cm each. Roll the ends slightly and glue them to the back of the head. Attach googly eyes to the head to complete the ladybug.
5
Take a black and a yellow sheet of cardstock and punch two circles from each with the maxi circle punch, making a total of four circles.
6
Use the maxi oval punch to cut out two ovals. Cut these ovals in half lengthwise and glue them together at an angle to create two sets of wings.
7
Alternate gluing the yellow and black circles together with a significant overlap to form the body. Attach the wings to the back.
8
Cut six pieces of black pipe cleaners, each 3 cm long, and fold them in half. Cut an 8 cm piece and fold it into a V-shape, bending the ends towards the middle. Cut two 4 cm pieces and roll the ends slightly.
9
Glue all the pipe cleaners pieces to the back of the body. Attach googly eyes and draw a mouth if desired.
10
Take two shades of green paper and punch three circles from each with the maxi circle punch.
11
Glue the circles together in an alternating, zigzag pattern.
12
Cut eight pieces of pipe cleaners, each about 2 cm long. Glue two to the back of the head and the other six to the back of the body as legs. Attach googly eyes and draw a mouth if desired.
13
Take a light and a dark sheet of paper and punch four circles from each with the small circle punch.
14
Glue these circles together in an alternating, slightly curved pattern to form the dragonfly's tail.
15
Punch four ovals from a white sheet and one oval from a light blue sheet using the maxi oval punch. Punch a circle from the dark blue sheet using the medium circle punch.
16
Glue the light blue oval to the tail. Create two sets of two white ovals, glue them together at an angle, and attach them to the front and back of the body.
17
Cut a few pieces of pipe cleaners, about 4 cm each, and glue them to the back of the body. Attach googly eyes and draw a mouth if desired.
18
Take a dark pink and a light pink sheet of paper. Punch two circles from the dark pink sheet with the maxi circle punch and two circles from each sheet with the medium circle punch.
19
Take a purple sheet of paper and the medium and small circle punches. Punch two circles from the paper with each punch.
20
Form the wings by layering all the punched circles as shown in the picture, aligning them at one edge, and gluing them together. Glue the top and bottom parts of the wings together.
21
Take a black sheet of paper and the small circle punch. Punch five circles from the paper and glue them slightly overlapping to form the body.
22
Attach the wings to the body, cut two pieces of pipe cleaners, each 4 cm long, roll the ends slightly, and glue them to the back of the butterfly. Optionally, attach googly eyes to the butterfly.
