Cut a sheet of paper to 5.8 x 5.8 inch (14.8 x 14.8 cm) and score it in the middle at 2.9 inch (7.4 cm). Use thin paper, as cardstock is too thick for this project.

Place a set square in the centre on the scored line and mark points at 60 and 120 degrees. Flip the set square and repeat on the other side.

Align the marked points in a paper cutter and score diagonal lines.

Fold along all the scored lines.

First, fold the paper in half along the horizontal line, then fold one diagonal corner inward.

Next, fold the other corner inward, forming a cone-like shape.

Draw a pattern on the folded paper. If you want to make multiple snowflakes with the same design, create a template and trace it.
