Easter boxes from cardstock paper

Easter boxes from cardstock paper

An
Easter box or Easter basket is something typically associated with Easter. How
fun is it to make one in the shape of an Easter bunny? Grab your cardstock and
get ready to cut, score, and punch. Present the basket with some treats inside
or fill it with discovered Easter eggs.

Happy Easter!

1
Cut a rectangle of 10 x 15 cm from cardstock.
2
Score all sides at 3 cm.
3
Cut the long sides up to where the score lines intersect.
4
Punch both long sides with a decorative border punch.
5
Trim the side panel so that you can later fold it neatly together (see step 9).
6
Cut two long strips of 4 x 30.5 cm.
7
Score the first strip at 3, 15, 25, and 27.5 cm. Score the second strip at 15.25 cm.
8
Create a valley fold in the strip scored at 15.25 cm.
9
Glue the base of the box together.
10
Attach the strip with multiple score lines to the base of the box.
11
Glue the singly scored strip in a way that forms bunny ears.
12
Then, affix the ears to the other strip.
13
Punch two hearts, two ovals, and six small circles. Attach the hearts and circles to the ovals to create the bunny's feet.
14
Glue the feet to the box.
15
Create a face by sticking satin ribbon and a pom-pom just below the ears. Buttons or gemstones are also fun to use for decorating the box.
