1
Take ivory or white paper and two circle punches with diameters of 64 mm and 45 mm. Punch out 40 circles of each size.
2
Take black paper and a square punch with rounded corners. Punch out 72 squares.
3
Use the mini paper trimmer with a scoring blade and score all the circles and squares in the centre.
4
Next, cut 24 of the squares in half using the mini paper trimmer and cutting blade.
5
Fold all the scored shapes in half. Apply a thin line of glue from the centre to the edge and glue the circles and squares shut. Press firmly, even while drying, and place something heavy on top if needed.
6
Glue the large half circles together by applying a thin line of glue at the top and bottom, as shown in the photo. Press firmly and let dry.
7
Take a 30 cm piece of black satin ribbon and glue it onto the flat edge of the glued circles.
8
Form a ball with the circles by applying glue to the edges and sticking the circles together. Use small clothespins to hold it while it dries. Repeat this step for the smaller circles.
9
For the hat: take a half, glued square and place it vertically. Apply glue to the bottom half and stick a half, un-glued square horizontally on top. Then, glue another half, glued square vertically and a half, unglued square horizontally. Continue ‘stacking’ in this way. Press well and let dry.
10
Attach the hat to the ribbon, as you did with the circles. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
11
Thread a wooden bead through the top and bottom of the snowman. Create a loop at the top and hang the snowman up to make working easier. Tie small pieces of ribbon, about 10 cm long, to the bottom.
12
Fold the ribbons down and wrap another piece of ribbon around them. Secure with a drop of glue. Lastly, use a ribbon to make a scarf between the two white balls. Your snowman is ready!
