1
Use one sheet of smooth, black cardstock in A4 size. Cut a 0.3-inch strip and punch a 1-inch scalloped circle.
2
Now tear the sheet of black paper along the tear ruler.
3
From this, cut a strip of about 0.16 inches. The strip is straight on one side and torn on the other.
4
Press the torn edge of this strip onto the embossing ink pad.
5
Sprinkle the torn edge with embossing powder.
6
Heat the embossing powder with a heat tool and make sure all the powder melts together. The powder thus forms a kind of varnish layer.
7
Roll up the strip as shown. Make sure it is slightly smaller than the previously punched circle with a scalloped edge.
8
If the rolled-up strip is too small, you can make it bigger by holding your fingers slightly apart while rolling. This will create more space between the paper. Use a glue gun to glue the flat side of the rolled strip to the punched circle.
9
Now take the 0.3-inch strip from step 1 and determine the size of the ring by twisting the strip around your finger. Let the paper overlap by about 0.4 inches. Glue the strip in place.
10
Then glue the ring to the piece where the strip overlaps.
11
As a finishing touch, fill the spaces between the paper with black Diamond Stickles and make small dots on the edge of the scalloped circle. Your homemade ring is now ready!
