Start early with crafting for Christmas and create a stock of gift tags! Use cardstock, watercolour paint, and stamps to decorate your Christmas gifts with personal gift tags and Christmas labels.
1
Take some thin (200 gsm) watercolor paper and punch as many labels as you want.
2
Then punch a hole in each label with the circle hand punch.
3
Paint the labels with watercolors. Start with green at the bottom and let it bleed over to blue at the top. The mixed media work mat is an ideal surface to do this on. Easy to clean in no time with this water-resistant silicone mat.
4
Once the paint has dried use the stamp set and stamp your desired snail mail print with brown or copper color on each label.
5
Tie a piece of string to your label so you can easily attach them to something later.
6
Watercolor a piece of watercolor paper with yellow paint. After drying, punch out small stars. Stick these here and there on your labels. Feel free to punch some more, you can use the paper stars later to decorate your wrapped gift.
