Wooden spoon pyrography

Wooden spoon pyrography

Decorating wooden spoons is fun! This cute little project only requires a couple of things to get started. Make your own unique design and get started with our pyrography tool. Wood-burned spoons make for a great birthday or Christmas present for the most avid amateur chefs. Happy crafting!

1
Use the clear stamps and archival ink to apply the desired image to the wooden spoon.
2
Make sure the wood burning pen has reached the optimal temperature by waiting for five minutes after turning it on. Trace the stamped lines on the wooden spoon with the fine pyrography point.
3
Use the fine and the thicker pyrography point for the bird stamps.
4
Draw the desired design onto the wooden spoon with a pencil.
5
Use the fine pyrography point to trace the stems of the dandelion. The flowers are made by briefly pressing the thick pyrography point straight onto the wooden spoon.
6
For the arrow lines, you can use a metal ruler and the fine pyrography point. Then color in the arrow with the thick pyrography point.
7
Use a ruler and pencil to draw thin lines on the wooden spoon. Press the pyrography tool straight down to burn a circle.
8
Switch between the thick and the thin pyrography points to draw the lines.
9
Use the oval point to create a leaf pattern. You can make a leaf shape by pressing the oval point down once below, and once above either side of the lines.
