Crafting colourful fish

Crafting colourful fish

Creating
a colourful fish is a breeze with this DIY project! All you need are acrylic
paint, linen cardstock, and a few punches. Mix and match different paint
colours and craft one cheerful fish after another! Where will you stick yours?

1
Take a sheet of linen cardstock and apply a thin layer of acrylic paint in colours you like.
2
Allow the cardstock to dry thoroughly, then punch out three scalloped ovals.
3
Score the ovals lengthwise and fold them in half, with the painted side on the inside.
4
Use double-sided tape to stick the unpainted sides of the ovals together.
5
Punch out a smaller oval from the linen cardstock for the bottom of the fish and attach it with double-sided tape.
6
Punch out two different hearts for the tail. Make a cut from the point to the middle of each heart and slide them over the fish. Secure with a bit of glue.
7
Use double-sided tape to stick the unpainted sides of the ovals together.
8
Punch out a small heart for the mouth and attach it to the opposite end in the same way as the tail. Cut a larger heart in half to create the fins and glue them in place.
9
Use a white pen to draw details on the fish, such as playful stripes along its body.
10
Apply Ranger Glossy Accents to give the fish a shiny, wet look.
