Wall hanging for dried flowers

Wall hanging for dried flowers

In
this DIY project, we’ll show you how to transform empty glitter tubes and a
metal ring into a beautiful wall hanging for dried flowers. With just a few
simple steps and materials, you can breathe new life into old tubes and create
a stylish addition to your home decor. This decorative hanger is not only
visually appealing but also fun to make!

1
Gather about 20 empty glitter tubes and remove the caps.
2
Wrap a wide piece of washi tape around the top of each tube, covering the openings as well.
3
Insert one or more wooden cocktail sticks into a piece of foam, such as a half ring. Use this setup to spray-paint the tubes. For an even finish, it’s better to apply two thin layers of paint rather than one thick layer.
4
Once the paint is completely dry, remove the washi tape from the tubes.
5
Line up the tubes neatly in a row with the tops aligned. Take a piece of jute twine, leaving extra length on both ends. Glue the twine to the back of the tubes. For added stability, you can also apply some glue between the tubes.
6
Place the row of tubes inside a metal ring, positioning it as desired. You can glue the twine to the ring with a small drop of glue or tie a knot on the side.
7
Turn the ring over, tie a small bow from the jute twine, and attach it to the centre. Also, secure a piece of jute twine to the top of the ring for hanging. Finally, insert various dried flowers into the tubes for a charming finishing touch.
